I'm Mayor Matilda, and I need your help!
It’s my very first day on the job, and we have a major emergency on our hands. Robo-Ned Jelly, our town’s recycling robot, has gone rogue! Instead of recycling our waste, he's tossing it into landfill! He thinks waste is just 'rubbish', but we know better.
Your Mission: Help us stop Robo-Ned Jelly and prove that waste is actually a valuable resource that can be recycled or used again!

Waste is anything we've finished using. Most waste is valuable because we can reuse, recycle or compost it. So think before you throw!
What is waste?
GO stands for garden organics, so 'GO waste' means waste from your garden like grass, branches and weeds.
Garden waste should ONLY go in the green-lid GO bin. Once collected, it's turned into nutrient-rich compost and used to fertilise local parks and gardens.
What is
GO Waste?
Recycling is the process of turning old things into new things. It's important because it protects the environment and saves precious natural resources like trees, minerals and water. Recycling also uses less energy than making things from scratch which reduces pollution, and keeps waste out of landfill.
Why is recycling important?
Everyone can make a difference by sorting waste correctly at home and at school.
Remember, the yellow-lid bin is for recycling glass, cans, plastic, paper and cardboard.
The green-lid bin is for garden waste like leaves and sticks.
The red-lid bin is for general waste like plastic bags and wrappers.
