Waste is anything we've finished using.
Waste is valuable because it can be used again or turned into something else.
What is waste?
GO stands for Garden Organics, so 'GO waste' means waste from your garden.
It's things like grass, leaves, small branches and weeds.
Garden waste should only go in the green-lid GO bin.
What is
GO Waste?

Recycling is the process of turning old things into new things.
Recycling is important because it saves precious natural resources like trees and water that we take from the environment to use. It also saves energy and keeps waste out of landfill.
Why is recycling important?
You can help by putting your waste in the right bin at home and school!
The yellow-lid bin is for recycling paper, cardboard, glass, cans and plastic.
The green-lid GO bin is for garden waste like leaves and sticks.
The red-lid bin is for general waste like plastic bags and wrappers.
